# Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: August 17, 2026

Location: Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, full-time position

Highlights:
  • Labor and Delivery unit serving obstetric patients 20+ weeks gestation
  • Case mix includes labor management, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, OB emergency/triage evaluations, and postpartum surgical patients such as tubal ligations
  • Opportunity to provide both routine and complex care in a dynamic perinatal setting
  • Work with an experienced team of clinical professionals in a supportive environment
  • Comprehensive orientation and preceptorship program for newly hired RNs
  • Potential for permanent placement after contract completion based on department openings
Requirements:
  • Active RN License in Texas or compact state
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
  • BLS certification required (AHA only)
  • ACLS certification required (AHA only)
  • Current certification in AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM)
  • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
