# Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, full-time position
Highlights:
- Labor and Delivery unit serving obstetric patients 20+ weeks gestation
- Case mix includes labor management, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, OB emergency/triage evaluations, and postpartum surgical patients such as tubal ligations

- Comprehensive orientation and preceptorship program for newly hired RNs
- Potential for permanent placement after contract completion based on department openings
Requirements:
- Active RN License in Texas or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- ACLS certification required (AHA only)
- Current certification in AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM)
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
