Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Women & Infant Float Pool – Ohio

Schedule: Full-time position requiring float rotation between Labor & Delivery, Maternal Special Care, and Postpartum units. Call and weekend coverage required.
Highlights:

- Work with complex cases including high-risk antepartum, multiple births, and low birth weight infants
- Minimum 2 years of recent maternal-child health nursing experience required
- Travel and local candidates accepted; former employees eligible after 6-month separation period
- Strict compliance timelines with credentialing deadlines the Tuesday prior to start date
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in maternal-child health nursing
- Required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
- Preferred Certifications: AWHONN Advanced, EFM experience
- Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Clinical skills must include experience with Labor & Delivery, Postpartum care, antepartum management, newborn assessment, use of external fetal monitoring, administration of Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, and management of postpartum hemorrhage
- Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
- Two professional references required: at least one from a manager, director, or formal leadership role
- Ability to complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon contract signing
