This travel position offers an exciting opportunity to work within the Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum Unit, ensuring quality and safe patient care. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery- Meet expectations of the OneCHRISTUS Competencies
- Obtain and record initial assessment; establish priorities
- Re-assess patients systematically; identify progress and trends
- Develop and implement individualized plan of care
- Make comprehensive nursing decisions; modify plan of care
- Participate in health education and discharge planning
- Implement and document appropriate interventions
- Evaluate the plan of care
- Perform various Point of Care testing procedures
Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery- Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
- Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Relevant nursing experience and skills relevant to patient demographics
