Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Ohio
Start Date: November 2, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 1:1 patient ratios on days and nights; 36-hour orientation provided; may be required to float to antepartum and other units within the organization as needed
Highlights:
- High-volume Level 4 Labor & Delivery unit with approximately 450 deliveries per month
- Epic charting system experience required
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
- Work with diverse patient populations including neonates, adolescents, and adults
- Two pre-approved time off requests available during assignment
- Parking options available with shuttle service and flexible permit choices
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license valid at time of application)
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and either AWHONN Advanced or NCC C-EFM
- Epic EMR experience required
- Proficiency in IV starts and all core L&D skills required
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
- Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon contract signing
- Former employees must have been away from the facility for 6+ months to be eligible
