Job Title: RN - Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: Candidates must have EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, SVE competency, and C-Section circulation. Candidates must have 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery. Description: This is a seasonal contract position for a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery. The shift is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM and includes rotating weekends. There are no call requirements. The unit consists of 32 beds with a staff of 150. Patient ratios are maintained at 1:1 or 1:2. The staff includes charge nurses and co-charge nurses to ensure adequate coverage. The equipment used in the unit includes Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound. Candidates with previous experience in a high-volume unit are preferred. Procedures typically performed on the unit include SVD, cerclages, C-Sections, and TOLAC. Team players with a positive attitude are encouraged to apply. The dress code requires solid navy blue scrubs, with solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts only. No t-shirts are acceptable. Adherence to the attendance policy is expected.
