Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid State License Required Certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM Must-Have: BLS Certification is required. On-call requirement may exist per unit needs. Experience with charting system required. Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery for night shifts. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty. Registered Nurses will be responsible for patient care in the birth center. Travelers may be required to float to other units within the service line. RTO days are limited to a maximum of 10 per contract. RTO is not permitted during specified peak periods. The patient ratio is 1:2 for antepartum or postpartum and up to 4:1 for other situations. All travelers are expected to complete facility-specific modules within the first week of the assignment. Candidates must be prepared for various tasks related to labor and delivery, including neonatal care and high-risk deliveries. Additional duties include assisting with childbirth procedures and maternal care. Strong communication skills and teamwork are essential for success in this role.
