Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Labor and Delivery License: Registered Nurse license required Certifications: BLS, NRP/NALS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate Must-Have: - Experience in Labor & Delivery with the ability to scrub C-sections - Epic experience preferred Description: Provides nursing care in the Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Mother-Baby settings. Must have strong assessment and clinical skills in the Labor & Delivery specialty. Essential duties include assisting with vaginal deliveries and supporting mothers during the recovery process. Experience in administering medications and managing IVs is required. Must be able to perform neonatal resuscitation and support breastfeeding. Knowledge of maternal and fetal monitoring techniques is necessary. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Floating to other areas may be required based on facility needs. A commitment to providing excellent patient care in labor and delivery is essential.
