Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: State License - Compact required Certifications: AHA BLS ACLS NRP AWHONN Intermediate Must-Have: AWHONN Intermediate certification required Description: 10 RTO days maximum approved. RTO is not allowed during specific time periods. Intermediate level AWHONN certification is a hard requirement. Will not accept just advanced certification. Position requires experience in labor and delivery. Candidates must have OB triage experience. Manage laboring and high-risk obstetrics situations. Must circulate in the operating room and place internal monitors. Fast-paced environment with approximately 150 births per month. Patient ratios of 1:2. Responsibilities include assessment of fetal heart rates and maternal well-being. Successful candidates will have experience with both low-risk and high-risk perinatal care. Must maintain proficiency in various clinical skills and procedures related to labor and delivery. Familiarity with charting in Epic is required. Notice: First-timers accepted if experience requirements are met. Weekends are required as needed per unit. On-call shifts may be required based on unit needs. Additional requirements include adherence to all safety guidelines and protocols. Candidates must uphold high standards of patient care. Team collaboration and effective communication are essential. Applicants should be prepared for a dynamic, challenging work environment.
