This facility features a 15-bed labor and delivery unit, a 20-bed high-risk unit, and an 8-bed OB triage area. The nurse must be experienced in adhering to guidelines for patient care during labor. The nurse will be responsible for maintaining a patient ratio of 1:1 in active labor and two patients in early, latent labor. Responsibilities include acting as charge nurse in both labor and delivery and the high-risk unit, as well as assisting with deliveries. The position requires commitment to working scheduled shifts, including every third weekend and holiday rotation.
