You will assist with labor and preterm labor management. The unit has 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms. You will be responsible for circulating procedures, including C-sections. You will assist with GYN surgeries and couplet care. You will attend all deliveries, including high-risk cases. You will use specialized equipment and administer medications. Patient care requires a strong focus on safety and infection control. The staffing ratio in the unit is 1:1 to 1:3. You may be required to float to other units based on skill set. This position involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. You will be expected to participate in patient education and discharge planning. Strong assessment and critical thinking skills are essential. You must be flexible and willing to work holidays as required.
