**Job Description:**
- **Unit Information:**
- **Unit:** Labor & Delivery 70707
- **Location:** 500 West Main Street, Second Floor
- **Number of Beds:** 18
- **Number of Staff:** 54
- **Staff Composition:**
- **Day Shift:**
- 1 Charge Nurse or Clinical Nurse Coordinator
- 8-10 Registered Nurses (RNs)
- 1-2 OB Technicians
- 1 Health Unit Coordinator (HUC)
- **Night Shift:**
- 1 Charge Nurse or Clinical Nurse Coordinator
- 8-10 Registered Nurses (RNs)
- 1-2 OB Technicians
- **Patient Ratios:**
- 1:1 for Pitocin, C-section delivery, Recovery
- 2-3 Antepartum patients
- AWHONN guidelines followed
- **Equipment & Technology:**
- GE fetal monitoring
- EMR: CPN Meditech
- **On-Call Requirement:**
- 1-2 shifts per schedule
- **Floating Requirement:**
- Possible to Mother Baby unit if needed
- Minimal floating; focus on primary unit care
- **Skill Set:**
- **Must Have:**
- Labor management experience
- Circulating experience for cesarean section
- **Preferred:**
- Familiarity with vaginal deliveries, triage, and iron infusions
