Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) setting throughout the night shift
  • Monitor maternal and fetal status continuously, interpreting fetal monitoring data to guide clinical decisions
  • Assist with labor support, delivery, and immediate postpartum and newborn care
  • Respond to obstetric and neonatal emergencies utilizing ACLS, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E. protocols
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe outcomes for mothers and newborns
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Indiana or compact state eligibility
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
  • S.T.A.B.L.E. Program certification required
  • Fetal Monitoring competency required
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior experience in an LDRP or Labor and Delivery unit
  • Familiarity with high-volume or acute obstetric care environments
  • Experience with rotating holiday and weekend scheduling
