License: Valid compact or state license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP required. Must-Have: Epic experience required. IV start and Labor and Delivery experience required. Previous travel experience preferred. Description: 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience is required. Candidates must hold current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP. Candidates should have experience with IV starts and Labor and Delivery procedures. Epic experience is a requirement for this position. Candidates may be required to float to different units as needed. Previous travel nursing experience is preferred but not mandatory. The unit handles approximately 450 deliveries per month. Staffing includes multiple interdisciplinary support teams. Special procedures involve high-risk antepartum care and various delivery methods. All candidates must comply with credentialing processes promptly. References will be required from previous employers in formal leadership positions. Candidates must be aware of the urgency of completing necessary background checks. This role requires proactive communication and cooperative engagement in the credentialing process.
