License: Valid nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP. AWHONN Advanced and C-EFM preferred. Must-Have: Call required. Weekend coverage required. Epic experience preferred. Description: Seeking an experienced registered nurse for the float pool. The nurse will float between Labor and Delivery, Client Special Care, and Postpartum. This position involves three 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Strong skills in administration of medications, patient assessment, and care for mothers and newborns are essential. The ideal candidate will possess skills in high-risk antepartum care, postpartum hemorrhage management, and breast feeding support. Responsibilities include patient education, discharge teaching, and monitoring maternal and infant conditions. Ability to maintain central lines, perform phlebotomy, and use external fetal heart monitoring equipment is required. Nurse must have experience with multiple births, newborn assessment, and postpartum care. Candidates should be prepared for an urgent compliance process, including fingerprinting. References from previous supervisors will be required. All candidates must have completed education from an accredited nursing program.
