TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, 70809!

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years with travel experience required License: Active state or compact license required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM Must-Have: Postpartum experience required Experience in Labor and Delivery required Experience with charting systems required Description: This position involves Labor and Delivery nursing with a night shift schedule. The role consists of 80% Labor and Delivery duties and 20% Mother and Baby/Postpartum care. Minimal request time off is preferred. The ideal candidate should possess flexibility regarding scheduling. Candidates must have experience as travelers and no local candidates will be considered. Weekend rotation and coverage obligations will be discussed during the interview. Charge experience is preferred, with a patient ratio of 2:1. Candidates should have experience with charting systems and community hospital settings. Experience in LTAC and Trauma Level I or II is preferred. Skills required include the administration of blood products, postpartum care, and neonatal resuscitation, among others. The unit caters to a diverse range of patient age groups and diagnoses, focusing on high-risk obstetric care. Candidates will be expected to assist with various procedures and provide comprehensive care as described. This position involves collaboration with interdisciplinary support services, ensuring high-quality patient care.
