Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery / Fetal Testing Center – Texas
Start Date: September 28, 2026
Location: Austin, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM. Day shift only with no call requirements. Friday half-days available.
Highlights:
- Specialized Fetal Testing Center with 6-bed capacity focused on antepartum and prenatal care
- Day shift schedule only with no on-call or weekend requirements
- Collaborative team environment with 10 staff members including RNs, PCTs, front desk personnel, and ultrasound technicians
- Typical procedures include medical history assessments, lab ordering, phone triage, non-stress testing, injections, and patient education
- EMR systems include Meditech and CPN
- Contract position supporting a well-established women's health center
Requirements:
- Current RN license in the state of Texas or ability to obtain
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications required
- Women's health nursing experience required (postpartum, NICU, labor and delivery, or antepartum)
- Labor and Delivery or Antepartum experience strongly preferred
- Flexibility to adapt to varying responsibilities throughout the workday
- Strong communication and patient education skills
