Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2-3 Years License: Compact License Accepted Certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Must-Have: - Epic Experience Required - Flu Vaccine Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only - Previous Charge Experience Preferred Description: Start date is flexible. This position requires a night shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts. Candidates must have 2-3 years of relevant experience. Certifications required include BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate. Candidates with first-time travel experience are not accepted. Local candidates are welcome. Previous charge experience is preferred. Candidates should have familiarity with AWHONN standards for patient ratios. Epic charting system experience is required. Community hospital experience is preferred. Travel experience is not required. The role includes various skills such as: - Administration of blood products - Support for high-risk deliveries - Management of postpartum hemorrhage - Use of external fetal monitoring - Recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns The facility provides care for neonates, adolescents, infants, and adults. It has a daily census of six patients and offers support from various interdisciplinary teams. Candidate qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
