Must-Have Skills/Experience:
2 years of labor and delivery experience in a hospital setting with a high volume of deliveries.
Description:
The position involves providing nursing care in the Labor and Delivery unit.
Registered Nurses will be responsible for monitoring patients during labor, assisting with deliveries, and providing postpartum care.
Patient ratios are typically 1:1 or 2:1, based on estimated needs.
The unit is equipped with external fetal monitoring.
Electronic medical records will be used for documentation.
An ideal candidate will have the ability to float to postpartum as needed.
Candidates with additional certifications such as ACLS and PALS are preferred.
