TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Battle Creek, Michigan, 49017!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate and/or NCC C-EFM Must-Have: Must have OB, Mother/Baby, and Labor & Delivery experience Description: Offering up to 26 weeks of employment. Will consider longer contracts. No call requirement. Weekend requirement is every other weekend. Will work in all areas of LDRP. Will float to sitter duties when needed. May float to another facility when the need exists and census allows. No time off will be permitted during the first 8 days of the contract. Patient ratios follow established guidelines for staffing. RNs provide antepartum, labor and delivery, OR circulating duties, scrub nurse, newborn nurse at delivery, and couplet care. Nurses perform lab draws and hearing screens on newborns. Scrubs will be provided. Equipment used includes an EPIC documentation system. Training will be provided to complete newborn infant hearing screens. 15-bed LDRP unit with triage bays and operating rooms. Daily census includes working with neonates, adolescents, infants, and adults. Interdisciplinary support available includes respiratory services, interpretation, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary. Experience in circulating and FHM triage is required. Scrub experience is preferred. Travelers will be first to float when needed. References are required and must be from a supervisor level. Proof of flu vaccination is required for submission, with medical exemptions only. Modules are completed during orientation and on an annual basis, and are self-reported. Previous employees may return after defined periods.
