The unit is equipped to handle obstetric emergencies with rapid access protocols. Nurses work closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide seamless care for high-acuity obstetric patients. This includes managing high-risk pregnancies and maternal medical complications. Dedicated support services are available to assist patients and families with complex needs. Postpartum care is provided in a separate unit to ensure focused care for acute patients. As a teaching facility, this opportunity allows nurses to collaborate with specialists and trainees in an academic environment.
