ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP certifications are required. AWHONN Advanced, FHM, and STABLE certifications are preferred. Scheduled for 3x12-hour night shifts with every third weekend requirement. Call duties are required; 3 twelve-hour call shifts during the scheduling period. Epic experience is necessary. Scrubs will be provided. The unit features private labor, delivery, and dedicated OB triage rooms. It has cesarean section operating rooms for rapid access during obstetric emergencies. The unit works closely with the High-Risk Antepartum Unit. Dedicated social work services are available to support patients and families. Postpartum and recovery care are provided in a separate unit. The hospital offers a collaborative academic environment with onsite specialists. Nurses work alongside multidisciplinary specialists and learners. Dedicated emergency response equipment is available for obstetric emergencies. Neonatal resuscitation equipment is ready in all delivery rooms. Candidates must comply with OSHA regulations for Respirator Clearance prior to starting. Candidates are not allowed to use their own PAPRs or CAPRs. Failure to meet clearance requirements may result in cancellation of employment.
