Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – North Carolina

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Staffing includes Charge Nurse, PCT, CST, and RN support. Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2. Weekends and on-call available upon approval.

  • Procedures include vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and cesarean hysterectomy
  • Equipment includes Baxter Pumps and Phillips electronic fetal monitoring; EMR is Cerner with Fetal Link
  • Collaborative team of 120+ staff members dedicated to exceptional maternal and newborn outcomes
  • Floating opportunities to Maternal Fetal Medicine, Maternity, and NICU

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
  • High-risk obstetrics experience required
  • Immediate newborn care experience required
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
  • BLS or ACLS certification
  • Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
  • Circulating experience preferred
  • Current RN licensure in North Carolina or eligibility to obtain
