# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery – Kansas

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Wichita, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Highlights:

• 20-bed Birth Care Center with a collaborative team of 50 experienced staff members
• Patient ratios: 3-4:1 for postpartum couplets, 1-2:1 for labor patients
• Diverse case mix including C-sections, inductions, AROM, IUPC, DFM, Doppler monitoring, and circulating for surgical cases
• Modern equipment including Welch Allen vitals machines, CPN monitors, POC glucose monitoring, and Monica Novii telemetry
• EMR system: Meditech with CPN integration
• Night shift team includes 1 CNC/charge nurse, desk clerk, scrub tech, and 4-5 RNs providing comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications (or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification)
• Active RN license in good standing
• Postpartum experience preferred
• High-risk LDR experience preferred
• Experience with C-section circulating, induction management, and fetal monitoring
