Schedule: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule (days: Saturday/Sunday; nights: Friday/Saturday). No call requirement for travel staff. Patient ratios: 3 couplets per 1 nurse; L&D = 1:1 for active labor/Pitocin/epidural

• Comprehensive maternity care center with 9 LDR beds, 8 postpartum/GYN beds, 2 OR suites, and 23 wellborn nursery beds
• EMR platforms include Centricity Perinatal and Meditech, with Corometrics monitoring equipment
• Diverse case mix including labor and delivery, cesarean sections, postpartum and newborn care, OB/ED triage, inductions, and midwife deliveries
• Facility-provided scrubs and supportive team environment with 50+ staff members
• Opportunity for additional shifts available; floating limited to within the maternity unit only
• Collaborative team structure with dedicated birth response nurses, couplet nurses, and scrub techs

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Virginia or compact state license
• Previous OB/maternity nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications required
• Cesarean section experience (circulator, first assist, or scrub) strongly preferred
