Current certification in Advanced EFM/AWHONN Intermediate EFM is required. Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The nurse will work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This unit handles a mix of low-risk and high-risk obstetric patients. There are 12 labor delivery rooms, 5 antepartum beds, and 4 obstetric emergency department beds. Staffing includes approximately 72 nursing and surgical staff. Patient ratios are generally 1:2 and 1:1 based on transition and acuity. Key equipment includes Alaris pumps and CADD epidural pumps. Nurses will be engaged in various procedures, including C-sections and twin deliveries. Experience with placenta accreta spectrum disorders is preferred.
