License: Registered Nurse license in Texas.
Certifications:
- BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Neonatal Resuscitation certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
- Advanced Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification required.
Must-Have:
- 2 years minimum of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service.
Description:
This is a Level IV Client Designation facility.
It consists of 20 Labor, Delivery, and Recovery (LDR) suites, 4 C-section suites, 10 Triage rooms, 51 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms, and 14 monitored Ante-partum rooms.
The facility operates as both an academic teaching service and a large private obstetrics practice.
The delivery service is high-risk and fast-paced, performing over 500 deliveries per month.
24-hour in-house attending OB coverage, anesthesia coverage, and NICU coverage are available.
A Perinatal Transport Program is in place.
Expansion is planned for early 2026 with a new Women’s Tower.
Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
