It acts as an academic teaching service along with large private Client practices. The facility provides a high-risk, fast-paced delivery service, performing over 500 deliveries per month. There is 24-hour in-house attending obstetric coverage, anesthesia coverage, and NICU coverage. The facility also offers a Perinatal Transport Program. The Women’s Emergency Department accommodates patients from 16 weeks to 6 weeks postpartum as well as an expanded GYN scope. This department consists of 14 total beds.
