TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Battle Creek, Michigan, 49017!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate and/or NCC C-EFM preferred Must-Have: - OB, Mother/Baby, and Labor & Delivery experience - Ability to work in all areas of LDRP - Willingness to float to other units as needed Description: The position requires a registered nurse with experience in obstetrics, mother/baby care, and labor and delivery. You will provide care in a 15-bed labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum unit. The unit includes 3 triage bays and 2 operating rooms. Responsibilities include antepartum care, labor and delivery support, operating room circulating, newborn nursing, and couplet care. Nurses will also perform lab draws and hearing screenings on newborns. There is no call requirement for this position. Weekend work is required every other weekend. You may float to other units as a sitter when needed and will float to another location as census allows. All staff follow patient ratios per AWHONN guidelines. Training will be provided to complete newborn infant hearing screenings using a specific machine. This role also requires adherence to established policies and procedures.
