Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Labor & Delivery setting throughout the night shift
  • Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
  • Perform fetal monitoring assessments and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using EPIC
  • Availability to work the Christmas holiday is required
Required Qualifications
  • Active North Carolina RN license or valid Compact RN license
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
  • Travel nursing experience required
  • Must reside at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification or equivalent experience preferred
  • Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
