Key Responsibilities
Implement the nursing process by delivering effective, relationship-based nursing care to patients and families
Demonstrate technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive patient outcomes
Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively to optimize patient care and clinical operations
Contribute to the professional practice of nursing through ongoing self-development
Display leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes
Maintain compliance with all policies, standards, and requirements related to the safeguarding of Protected Health Information (PHI)
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Minimum of two years of Level 3 or Level 4 Labor and Delivery experience required
Must demonstrate age-specific nursing competencies across the patient population served
Must comply with all requirements for the appropriate use and protection of Protected Health Information (PHI)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in a high-acuity Labor and Delivery setting
Familiarity with clinical operations in a large acute care environment
