Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit throughout the night shift
Chart and document patient information using Epic EMR
Float to other units as needed based on facility staffing requirements
Adhere to facility compliance standards, policies, and clinical protocols
Required Qualifications
Active Virginia RN license in hand at time of submittal, or valid compact license with proof provided
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, with L&D as most recent experience
Specialty experience within the last year required
Epic EMR experience required
ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required - must be issued through the American Heart Association (AHA)
NIH and stroke education required
One supervisory reference required at time of submittal
SSN required at time of submittal
Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same base rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting
Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to varying unit needs
