Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a 14-bed Labor and Delivery unit supporting approximately 175 cases per month
  • Maintain a 1:2 patient ratio across labor, antepartum, and recovery couplet care settings
  • Circulate C-Sections as a required component of the role
  • Participate in weekend and holiday rotation schedules
  • Float as needed to Mother/Baby or serve as a sitter task RN to other units
  • Participate in voluntary on-call opportunities as available
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 2 years of current Labor and Delivery experience
  • Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • Fetal Monitoring certification required
  • Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience in a Level III Trauma or high-acuity hospital environment
  • Familiarity with antepartum and postpartum recovery couplet care
  • Flexibility to float to Mother/Baby or other units as needed
