Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Maryland

Start Date: September 15, 2026

Location: Towson, Maryland

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Full-time hours with rotating shifts; weekend and on-call responsibilities as determined by facility needs

Requirements:
  • Active Maryland RN license (verification must be current within 30 days)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent high-volume Labor & Delivery experience required
  • Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Active Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification or willingness to obtain within 48 hours of offer
  • Active NIH Stroke Scale/Score (NIHSS) certification or willingness to obtain within 48 hours of offer
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • COVID-19 vaccination required (state record; declinations not accepted)
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Full schedule flexibility with no restrictions; must be available for facility-determined schedule including weekends and on-call shifts
  • Current skills checklist specific to Labor & Delivery
  • Two recent supervisory references (one within 6 months, one within 12 months)
  • Complete resume with all employment gaps exceeding 30 days clearly explained
