Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,182 per week in Overland Park, KS

Provide direct patient care on a 13-bed Labor & Delivery unit with 3 additional triage beds, following AWHONN staffing guidelines (1:1 for active labor and recovery; up to 2 patients for Cytotec or Cervidil inductions). Gain experience in a full-scope OB setting that includes vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, triage, and potential cross-training to Mother Baby and Women's Surgery.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 13-bed Labor & Delivery unit with 3 additional triage beds, following AWHONN staffing guidelines (1:1 for active labor and recovery; up to 2 patients for Cytotec or Cervidil inductions)
• Assist with and support vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections in an OR environment
• Operate and interpret fetal monitoring equipment and utilize the CPN/GE electronic medical record system
• Float to Mother Baby and Women's Surgery units as needed
• Collaborate within a team-oriented culture emphasizing caring and compassion

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license eligible for practice in Kansas
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• OR circulation experience for cesarean sections
• Experience catching newborns
• Antepartum care experience
