Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Labor and Delivery/Perinatal setting
Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period
Perform and interpret fetal monitoring in accordance with facility protocols
Respond to obstetric and neonatal emergencies utilizing Advanced Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation skills
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe outcomes for mothers and newborns
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas
BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification
Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service
Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited school or college of nursing
Preferred Experience / Skills
3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in a high-volume delivery service
