Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification is required. Preferred qualifications include 3-5 years of perinatal clinical experience in a high-volume delivery service. Certification in the S.T.A.B.L.E program is preferred. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is also preferred. The facility includes 26 labor, delivery, recovery suites and other specialized rooms. It is an academic teaching service as well as a large private obstetrics practice. The service performs over 500 deliveries per month in a high-risk and fast-paced environment. 24-hour in-house attending obstetric coverage is provided, along with anesthesia coverage and NICU coverage. A perinatal transport program is also in place. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
