Description:
Required Credential(s):
BLS Provider certification from an accepted organization.
Registered Nurse Texas license.
Neonatal Resuscitation certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Advanced Life Support certification from an accepted organization.
Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification is required.
Education:
Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited school or college of nursing.
Preferred Qualifications:
3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in high volume delivery service.
S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification.
Unit Description:
A Level IV Client Designation facility.
Consists of 26 Labor Delivery Recovery suites, including low intervention rooms.
Includes 6 C-section suites, 14 Triage rooms, 60 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms, and 16 monitored Ante-partum rooms.
An academic teaching service with large private OB practices.
High-risk, fast-paced delivery service performing over 500 deliveries per month.
Provides 24-hour in-house Attending OB coverage, anesthesia coverage, and NICU coverage.
Includes a Perinatal Transport Program.
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP.
