Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Nurse – Virginia

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a)
Highlights:
- Fast-paced Labor & Delivery unit with 15 LDR suites, 3 operating rooms, and 4-bay PACU
- Comprehensive obstetric care including 3 OB triage rooms, 4 antepartum rooms, and Level III NICU support
- Documentation systems include Meditech and CPN
- Circulate cesarean sections, manage high-acuity patients, and administer IV drips including magnesium sulfate
- Floating within women's and children's service line only
- Scrubs provided by facility
Requirements:
- Current RN license in Virginia (or compact state licensure)
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Heart Rate Intermediate certifications required
- Strong experience in fast-paced labor and delivery settings
- Experience with scrub role and circulating in the OR preferred
- Proficiency with procedures including cesarean sections, epidurals, spinals, cerclage placement, and external cephalic version
