# Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Virginia**Start Date:** August 31, 2026 **Location:** Reston, Virginia **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)**Highlights:**- Comprehensive labor and delivery unit with 15 LDR rooms, 3 obstetric triage rooms, 3 operating rooms, and a 4-bay PACU- Level III NICU on-site for high-acuity maternal and neonatal care- Documentation systems include Meditech and CPN- Floating may occur within women's and children's service line as needed- Scrubs provided by the facility- Ideal for nurses experienced in fast-paced labor and delivery environments**Requirements:**- Active RN license in Virginia or compact state eligibility- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required- AWHONN Fetal Heart Rate Intermediate certification required- Experience with labor and delivery nursing, including IV drips such as magnesium and high-acuity patient care- Circulating for cesarean sections required; scrub role experience helpful- Familiarity with procedures such as cesarean sections, epidurals, spinals, cerclage, and external cephalic version**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic and comprehensive labor and delivery unit within a leading women's and children's service line.
