# Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – VirginiaStart Date: July 6, 2026
Location: Northern Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AMHighlights:
  • Fast-paced Level III facility with 15 LDRs, 3 ORs, and 3 OB triage rooms
  • High-acuity labor and delivery unit with antepartum and PACU support
  • State-of-the-art Level III NICU for comprehensive maternal-newborn care
  • Documentation systems include Meditech and CPN
  • Floating limited to women's and children's service line only
  • Hospital-supplied scrubs provided
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in Virginia or compact state eligibility
  • BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Heart Rate Intermediate certifications required
  • Strong experience in high-acuity labor and delivery environments
  • Proficiency with labor management, IV drips (including magnesium), and circulating cesarean sections
  • Scrub role experience in OR setting preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with procedures including cesarean sections, epidurals, spinals, cerclage, and external cephalic version
