Exciting Opportunity for Labor & Delivery RN!** **Job Description** - **Position:** Travel RN - Labor & Delivery - **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM - **Experience Required:** Minimum 2 years in a hospital setting - **Licenses:** Must have KY License/Compact at submission **Unit Information: L&D** - **Number of Beds:** - 7 Labor & Delivery - 14 Mother/Baby - Level 2 NICU/NB Nursery - **Staffing:** 58 dedicated professionals - **Day Shift:** 6-8 RNs, 1 OBT, 1 Unit Clerk - **Night Shift:** 5-8 RNs, 1 OBT, 1 Unit Clerk - **Patient Ratios:** - L&D: 2:1 - MB: 6-8:1 - NICU: 1-4:1 (depending on acuity) - **Equipment Used:** - Alaris pumps - Corometrics 250 series Fetal Monitor - Monica monitor - Ranger fluid warmer - **EMR Systems:** Meditech Expanse and CPN (Centricity Perinatal) **Typical Hiring Profile** **Must-Have Skills:** - 3 or more years of Labor & Delivery experience - Ability to circulate for cesarean sections **Preferred Skills:** - More than 5 years of Labor & Delivery experience **Typical Procedures Performed:** - Vaginal deliveries - Cesarean sections - Induction of labor (e.g., cook catheter, cervidil, oxytocin) - Intrauterine fetal demise management - IV insertion and lab draws - Sterile vaginal exams - Assistance with epidurals - Foley catheter placements **Best Personality Fit:** - Team player enthusiastically collaborating with others **Required Certifications:** - BLS - ACLS - NRP - AWHONN **Dress Code:** - Scrubs provided for infant security **Weekends and On Call:** - Every other weekend (Friday and Saturday night) **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
