Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit during night shift hours
  • Maintain compliance with all facility policies and unit-specific protocols
  • Complete onsite orientation modules as required prior to independent practice; modules are non-billable and average 4-6 hours for RN roles
  • Float to like units within scope of practice as needed based on facility needs, following a brief unit orientation
  • Fulfill weekend shift requirements of approximately every third weekend (6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards throughout all aspects of care
Required Qualifications
  • Valid Kansas RN license or active Compact RN license required at time of submission
  • BLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
  • AWHONN certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
  • NRP certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
  • All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submittal
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience preferred
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
