Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 hours per week, 4 weekend shifts per month, no call requirements, 13-week assignment
Highlights:
- 12-bed Labor & Delivery unit with 2:1 patient ratios
- Charge experience required and must be willing to work in a charge capacity
- Documentation in Meditech electronic health record system
- Responsibilities include circulating C-sections
- Unit support includes one unit tech each shift and one unit secretary on day shift
- Floating to other units as needed based on facility requirements
Requirements:
- Active Texas RN License only (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
- Minimum 2+ years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN) certifications required
- RNC certification preferred
- Meditech experience strongly preferred
- Must have charge nursing experience and be willing to serve in charge role
