# Job Opportunity – Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: September 15, 2026

Location: Dallas, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM); 36 guaranteed hours; weekend and rotating schedule; call requirements to be discussed during interview

Highlights:
  • 13-week assignment in a 24-bed high-risk obstetrical unit specializing in labor and delivery
  • Patient ratios of 2:1 and 3:1 in Labor and Delivery, OB ED, and triage settings
  • Work with GE fetal monitors and document using Meditech and CPN systems
  • Perform vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C procedures, and post-delivery recovery care
  • Floating may be required to antepartum unit as needed
  • Intermediate AWHONN fetal monitoring certificate required
Requirements:
  • Active RN license in Texas
  • Minimum 2 years of high-risk labor and delivery bedside experience required
  • Intermediate AWHONN fetal monitoring certification required
  • Demonstrated experience with high-risk obstetrical bedside training
  • Proficiency in circulating in cesarean sections within the labor and delivery area
  • Experience recovering high-acuity obstetrical patients
  • Compliance with professional dress code including scrub requirements, nail policy (no artificial nails), and grooming standards
