# Job Opportunity – Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** September 15, 2026 **Location:** Dallas, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 36-40 hours per week; rotating weekends with call requirements**Highlights:** - 13-week assignment in a 24-bed high-risk obstetrical labor and delivery unit- Patient ratios of 2:1 to 3:1 in OB/ED triage setting- Specialized women's hospital environment focused on high-acuity maternal care- GE fetal monitoring equipment with Meditech and CPN documentation systems- Opportunity to work with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C procedures, and post-delivery recovery- Flexibility to float to antepartum units within the women's services division as needed**Requirements:** - Active RN license in Texas or compact state license- Minimum 2 years of high-risk labor and delivery bedside experience required- Intermediate AWHONN fetal monitoring certification required- Experience with high-risk obstetrical patient management, circulating in cesarean sections, and recovering high-acuity patients- Expertise in vaginal deliveries, surgical obstetric procedures, and post-delivery care- Professional appearance standards including appropriate scrubs, clean and healthy nails (no artificial nails), and neat grooming**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This role offers experienced labor and delivery nurses the chance to advance their skills in a specialized high-risk obstetrical environment.
