Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit throughout the night shift
  • Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
  • Accurately document all patient care activities using Epic electronic health records
  • Adhere to facility compliance requirements, including timely completion of onboarding and orientation modules
Required Qualifications
  • Active RN license (State or Compact) - must be in hand at time of submittal
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
  • First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
  • Required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
  • Candidates must not reside in the following counties at time of submittal: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
  • Previous staff members must wait 1 year before returning in a travel capacity
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor and Delivery setting
  • Proficiency with Epic charting system
  • Strong ability to adapt quickly to new environments and facility-specific protocols
