# Job Opportunity – Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** August 17, 2026 **Location:** Conroe, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Rotating shifts including every other weekend; 1:1 to 2:1 patient ratios**Highlights:**- Labor and Delivery unit with 8 labor beds, 2 triage beds, 2 ORs, and 1 recovery room bed- Experience with laboring patients, vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and postpartum care including newborn care- Electronic Medical Records: CPN and Meditech systems- Equipment includes GE Monitors, Panda Warmers, Novi, and Neptune systems- Collaborative team environment with dedicated charge nurses and support staff on every shift- Opportunity to float to Mother/Baby unit to expand clinical experience**Requirements:**- Active Registered Nurse license- Labor and Delivery experience required- Transition, postpartum, and newborn care experience required- Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications- Charge experience preferred- Team-oriented, motivated, independent, and flexible professional**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This Labor and Delivery position offers the chance to provide comprehensive obstetric care in a well-equipped unit with excellent patient ratios.
