Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery- Start IVs and draw labs
- Interpret fetal monitoring strips
- Conduct vaginal exams
- Function as an OB circulator
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, c-sections, amniocentesis, and amnioinfusions
- Perform IUPC/FSE placement
Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- NRP certification
