The role requires a commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services. The RN will work in a 295-bed acute care facility. The unit features 6 labor and delivery rooms, 5 outpatient rooms, and 2 operating rooms. Patient ratios are based on AWHONN guidelines. The equipment used includes GE Centricity and wireless fetal monitors. The electronic health record system utilized is Meditech/Centricity. The RN will be responsible for the care of patients in the Labor and Delivery unit. Weekend shifts will be required, with expectations of working 2 weekends per month. Call requirements are also part of the position. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
