Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,050 per week in Greensboro, NC

License: Active license must be in hand at submission. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP required. AWHONN Intermediate preferred. Must-Have: First-time travelers are welcome. EPIC experience required. COVID-19 vaccine required. Medical/religious exemptions only. Flu vaccine required. Medical/religious exemptions only. Description: This position requires working 3x12 hour shifts during the night. Schedule includes every other weekend and holidays as needed. Float required to maternal assessment unit, maternal/baby unit, and obstetric surgical center. Nurses will care for laboring patients with high acuity. The unit accommodates 18 beds. Daily census averages 16 patients. Patient ratios: 2 patients per nurse during the day and night. Nurses will perform the administration of blood products and support high-risk deliveries. Skills needed include labor and delivery management, neonatal resuscitation, and pain assessment. Additional skills include starting and managing IVs, administering medications, and conducting sterile exams. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, and pharmacy. All RNs must pass a compliance EKG exam. Modules are unit-based and will vary in hours.
