Responsibilities include monitoring fetal heart rates and assessing patient statuses. Nurses will assist in cesarean sections and postpartum care. Candidates should be familiar with both low-risk and high-risk obstetric populations. Management of complications such as preeclampsia and gestational diabetes is expected.
